Accommodations
Step down from the cockpit into a warm, spacious interior of real wood (honey-colored, plantation-grown teak) beautifully finished with outstanding joinery and hand-rubbed stain, varnish and polyurethane. Sleeping accommodations are available for seven persons in two staterooms (4) and the salon (3) with generous storage compartments and shelving throughout.
The forward state room has standing head room, a comfort seat, an off-set double berth with a custom mattress, a dome light and two brass reading lights, a cabin fan, DC and AC outlets, a large overhead hatch, an opening port and a bi-fold privacy door.
The port head compartment includes built-in and custom cabinets/shelving, a Raritan Marine Elegance electric head (2011), high-grade odor-resistant hoses (2011), a vanity with SS sink and hot/cold water, in-suite shower with wrap-around curtain, a high capacity sump pump (2013), a Whale high capacity overboard waste pump (2013), a dome light, AC outlet, an overhead hatch and an opening port.
The salon includes three dome lights, four brass reading lights, two cabin fans, two DC and one AC outlets, a Weems and Plath barometer and clock, a Sony remote controlled AM/FM/CD/I-POD jack stereo system with 4 speakers (2 salon, 2 cockpit), a large overhead hatch, and four opening ports. To starboard there is a vented, teak-lined hanging closet, settee berth, and a navigation station with built-in chart storage space; to port there is an L-shaped dinette (converts to a double berth) and a pantry/china cabinet enclosed behind a large, bi-fold teak dining table.
The starboard aft cabin has standing head room, a comfort seat, a double berth with privacy door, a vented, teak-lined hanging closet, two dome lights, a brass reading light, DC and AC outlets, an overhead hatch and an opening port.
The U-shaped galley on the port side, at the base of the companionway, with a S/S grab rail and surrounding fiddles, is designed with blue water passage in mind and allows one to prepare meals while underway. There is a gimbaled Tasco, 2 burner stove and oven, double stainless steel sinks, pressurized (Par-Max 3) and hand-pumped (Fynspray Classic) fresh water, three dome lights, a cabin fan, an AC outlet, an overhead hatch, an opening port, and lots of storage in cabinets, drawers and the refrigerator/freezer. The six-foot refrigerator/freezer compartment, with drain and light, is cooled by a Sea Frost cooling system installed in 2012 with both an electronic thermostat and speed control.
A Webasto Marine Comfort air conditioner (2008) is located under the galley cabinet with fixed controls located in the salon and a remote control. A Seward (2004) hot water heater provides hot water by both electric and engine heat exchanger mechanisms. All interior lights except those in the engine room and closets were replaced in 2012 with LEDs.
